Lennar Mortgage, LLC experienced a data security incident involving unauthorized access to its systems from May 26 to June 1, 2026. The company completed consumer notice on August 4, 2026, with public disclosures occurring around August 2026.
The incident resulted in the exposure of names, contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, passport or other government ID information, driver’s license or state ID information, and financial account information. A very small number of individuals may have also had medical-related information involved. At least 60,526 Texas residents and approximately 674 Massachusetts residents were affected, with one report indicating at least 61,295 people were affected overall.
Following the disclosures, multiple class action lawsuits were filed in federal court in August 2026, alleging that the breach exposed customers' personal and financial information. Lennar Mortgage, LLC is a subsidiary of Lennar Corporation, a publicly traded company.
