(IHRS), a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit, detected a data breach on January 14, 2026, which involved unauthorized access to its systems between August 13-14, 2025. This incident was an external system breach (hacking), and the company subsequently notified affected individuals on February 11, 2026.
Confirmed data types exposed include names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, medical information, and health insurance information. While the total number of individuals affected nationwide has not yet been disclosed, reports confirm at least 3 residents in Maine and 3 residents in Massachusetts were impacted. IHRS is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring to those affected.
