In January 2025, Mt. Baker Imaging and Northwest Radiologists experienced a ransomware attack that resulted in a data breach. This incident involved unauthorized access to their network.
The breach exposed names, contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers (SSNs), driver’s license or state ID numbers, treatment and diagnosis information, and health insurance information. Both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were compromised. Approximately 348,118 Washington residents and up to 362,713 individuals nationwide were affected.
