Alcott HR, a human resources outsourcing firm, disclosed a data breach that began with unauthorized access to its systems in February 2025. The company stated that its iSolved human capital management platform was not affected. Alcott HR began mailing notification letters to affected individuals on June 15, 2026.
The confirmed data types exposed in the breach include names, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth. Some reports also indicate that driver’s license information, health information, and financial information may have been compromised. While the total number of affected individuals nationwide has not been disclosed, 103 Rhode Island residents were reportedly impacted. The breach was also reported to the California Attorney General, and Alcott HR offered 24 months of identity theft protection to affected individuals.
