SunSource Borrower, which services, repairs, fabricates, and distributes industrial equipment across North America, disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized network access. The incident was reported around June 2026. A sample notification letter indicates the company discovered the incident and utilized a third-party forensic expert. The Texas Attorney General’s Office received a report related to this incident.
The breach exposed personal data including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license or government ID numbers, financial information, medical information, and health insurance information for at least 2,335 individuals. Of these, 2,142 were in Texas and 193 in Massachusetts. The full scope of affected individuals and all states involved has not yet been publicly confirmed.
