Riddell Law Group, a Florida-based law firm, experienced an external system breach (hacking) that was discovered on October 16, 2025. The company disclosed the breach through notifications that began mailing on February 12, 2026, and reported it to the Office of the Maine Attorney General.
The breach involved the exposure of names, Social Security numbers, addresses, tax identification numbers, passport numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, credit or debit card numbers, bank account information, and medication information. Over 19,500 individuals were potentially affected, including at least 71 Maine residents. The full scope of affected individuals and locations outside of Florida and Maine has not been publicly confirmed.
