Oak View Group (OVG), a sports and live entertainment venue management company, experienced a data breach where unauthorized access to its legacy systems was discovered on January 19, 2026. The intrusion began on December 16, 2025, and OVG mailed notification letters to affected individuals on June 12, 2026. The company has offered two years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration through Cyberscout.
The incident involved the sensitive personal information of contractors and vendors at OVG-managed venues. While the official notice excerpt explicitly confirms names and tax identification numbers were exposed, secondary reports suggest the broader set of potentially exposed data could include Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, government IDs, medical information, and financial information. At least 335 Massachusetts residents and approximately 53 Rhode Island residents were identified as affected. The full nationwide count has not been publicly provided.
Details can still emerge regarding this incident, and additional notices may be delayed.
