Nobu Restaurant Group Holding Company, LLC experienced a data breach between October 6 and 7, 2025. The ransomware group Akira claimed responsibility on November 5, 2025, stating they had exfiltrated 71 gigabytes of data. Notification letters were sent to affected individuals on April 17, 2026.
The confirmed data types exposed include names, Social Security Numbers, driver's license numbers, government-issued identification numbers (passports, state IDs), and financial information (account numbers, credit/debit card numbers). Protected health information, medical information, and health insurance information were also compromised. For employees and owners, exposed data included passport information, driver's licenses, financial records, confidential files, and non-disclosure agreements. As of available filings, at least 280 Texas residents and 1 Indiana resident were affected, with a minimum identified total of 281 individuals.
