The breach exposed sensitive personal information, including passport numbers, driver’s license information, email addresses, phone numbers, and residential addresses. It is reported that over 3 million Texans were specifically impacted due to a vendor handling state hunting and fishing license sales. While the breach involved highly sensitive data such as passport and driver’s license information, the exposure of SSN, medical, or financial data has not been explicitly confirmed. Affected customers are eligible for one year of free credit monitoring through Kroll; the enrollment deadline is September 14, 2026.
