GlobalLogic Inc., a private subsidiary of Hitachi Group, experienced a data breach in Q4 2025. This incident was a third-party vendor attack perpetrated by the Cl0p Ransomware group, which exploited a vulnerability in Oracle EBS. The company began notifying affected individuals in November 2025.
The breach exposed sensitive data for 10,471 current and former employees. The compromised information included names, addresses, contact details, dates of birth, nationality, passport information, tax identifiers, Social Security numbers, bank account details, salary information, emergency contact details, and other HR-related data. GlobalLogic offered 24 months of free credit monitoring to those affected. The company has not publicly disclosed whether a ransom was paid.
