Effortless Office Enterprises, LLC detected a data security incident that began on May 9, 2024, and extended until July 23, 2024. The company publicly acknowledged the incident and began mailing notification letters to affected individuals on June 13, 2025. The incident was reported to the Montana Office of Consumer Protection.
The breach exposed personal and protected health information, including highly sensitive data such as Social Security Numbers, Taxpayer IDs, driver's license and state ID numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, account and routing numbers, payment card data (including PINs and expiration dates), health insurance information, medical information, and biometric data. At least 145 Montana residents were affected, and individuals associated with Nevada Heart and Vascular were also involved. The total number of individuals affected beyond Montana has not been publicly disclosed.
While details continue to emerge, the company has taken steps to notify those impacted and manage the fallout from the incident. The full scope of the breach and any additional state notifications may be disclosed in the future.
