Saint Pete MRI (SPMRI), a diagnostic imaging and sleep lab, reported a data breach in July 2026. The company began mailing individual notices of the incident on July 22, 2026, and also provided a substitute notice on its website. The breach exposed personal and protected health information, including names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license or state ID numbers, medical information, and health insurance information. At least nine Vermont residents were affected. Saint Pete MRI notified the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. While the company stated there is currently no evidence of misuse, further details regarding the full scope and impact of the breach may emerge. Notifications are ongoing, however, underway.
